Product Details

Are your tiny plants real?

Yes, these are real, live plants! They grow just like any other succulent.

Do the plants actually grow?

Yes, they grow slowly due to the tiny pots, similar to bonsai.

How long do they live?

With proper care, these tiny plants can live as long as any other succulent. Some of our original plants have been thriving in their tiny pots for over a year. Once repotted, they can grow into full-sized succulents.

What is an adoption kit?

When you adopt a plant, you’ll receive a certificate of adoption. The kit encourages you to name, feed, and care for your tiny plant!

How do you get your plants to be so small?

We grow them! The small pots limit the amount of nutrients the plants get, which slows their growth and keeps them tiny.

Where do you get your pots?

We make them ourselves!

Where do you get your plant stands?

We design and manufacture them in San Diego.

Can I repot the plants?

Absolutely! Repotting helps them grow faster into regular-sized succulents. You can even propagate new tiny plants by taking a leaf from a full-sized plant and replanting it in a tiny pot.

Plant Adoption & Ordering

How can I adopt a tiny plant?

We're now shipping! We’re also a weekly vendor at the Hillcrest and Little Italy Farmers Markets in San Diego. Join us and follow us on Instagram for updates on other market locations.

Do you ship your tiny plants?

Yes! We’re expanding our collection, so stay tuned by following us on Instagram or subscribing to our email list below.

How long does it take for my order to ship?

We typically ship orders within 5-7 days. Once your plant is ready for its new home, you’ll receive a confirmation with tracking information.

Can I return my tiny plant?

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or refunds. Every item is carefully inspected before being made available for adoption. If your plant doesn't look too well, send us a picture and we'll help you figure out what's wrong.

Plant Care

Can they survive without much sunlight?

Yes, they’re adaptable to low-light environments, like offices with artificial light. However, for the best growth, place them in bright, indirect sunlight. A window sill with indirect light is a foolproof spot for most plants in our collection.

How much water do your plants need?

On average, water them once a week. Fill the pot to the top, and if any water overflows, use a tissue to soak up the excess. These tiny pots make it hard to overwater because the water evaporates quickly.

Do I need to prune my plant?

Not all plants need pruning. If you have a leafy plant, remove any dead or yellowing leaves to keep it healthy. If it grows too tall, a light trim can help it branch out beautifully.

What do I do if my plant tips over?

Gently reposition it in its pot and use any extra soil provided to support the plant. Tweezers can be helpful for delicate adjustments.
