Tiny Plant Care Guidelines

To ensure your new tiny plant thrives, follow these simple care tips:

Light

  • Pink Panther Plants: These require more light. Place them on a windowsill or near a bright window for best results. If natural light is limited, a bright desk lamp or grow light will keep them happy.
  • All Other Green Succulents & Cacti: These can adapt to lower light environments, such as offices with indoor lighting.
  • If your plant is growing tall and lanky, it is likely "reaching" for more light. Move it to a brighter spot with indirect sunlight or supplement with a grow light to promote healthy, compact growth.

    Watering

Initially, the soil may feel hard because we use a plant-based adhesive to keep it intact during transit. This can make water absorption slower at first, so be patient with your new plant and ensure you provide adequate water, even if it takes a bit longer. The glue will naturally dissolve over time.

    • Water thoroughly, ensuring all soil becomes moist. A small amount of water pooling on the surface is okay.
    • Allow the soil to dry completely between watering.
    • Use the included dropper to water your plant for precise care.

    Watering Frequency

    • Most Succulents & Pink Panthers: Water 1-2 times per week.
    • Cacti: Water once every 2 weeks.
    • Dried/Shriveled Plants: Water one extra time per week for 1-2 weeks and monitor for improvement.

    Pruning

    • Remove any dead or yellowing leaves to encourage healthy new growth and maintain your plant’s appearance.

    Soil Care

    • Your adoption kit includes a small pack of extra soil. Use it to top off the soil when it starts to look low to keep your plant stable and healthy.

    Children & Pet Safety

    • Keep plants away from small children and pets. Some plants may be toxic, and small parts could pose choking hazards.
